My name is Lisa Dinger and this is my 15th year as a full-time Child Guide with the Luverne Elementary School.
I went to college at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD and received a degree in K-12 Physical Education and Health with minors in Athletic Training, English, and Science. I taught P.E. and Health for 7 years in Redfield and Doland, South Dakota. I also coached volleyball, basketball, track, and softball. After having children, I stayed home 8 years full-time raising my family. I have always loved being with and working with children.
My husband, Don, and I have four children and 4 grandchildren
Eric (Steph) - Maddie, Reagan, and Raleigh
Brent (Ali)
Brady (Savannah)
Alison (Scott) - Augie
We have three very playful dogs named Ace, Jagger, and Chase. When I am not working at school, I enjoy time with my family.
Hobbies I enjoy are running, volleyball, golf, and overall most sporting activities. I also enjoy reading and traveling.
The best thing I love about my job is being with children. They truly are uplifting and give me energy. They are so refreshing to be with and can always change your day around.
